SBA PPP & EIDL Information Session

The Small Business Administration (SBA) will be sitting down with us to talk about the latest details on the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL).
Ahmad Goree, the Lead Economic Development Specialist & Public Information Officer from the SBA will lead us through the latest on these loan opportunities.

About Ahmad Goree:
Ahmad Goree joined the U.S. Small Business Administration in June of 2010 and currently is the Lead Economic Development Specialist in the Dallas/Ft. Worth District Office. As the Lead Economic Development Specialist, Ahmad serves as Chief of the Marketing and Outreach Division, where he leads a team of specialists that works on building and maintaining collaborative partnerships with small business stakeholders such as economic development practitioners, chambers of commerce, business associations, educational institutions and civic and community organizations.

In January 2013, SBA also named Ahmad as its Public Information Officer (PIO) for the Dallas/Ft. Worth district.  As PIO, Ahmad is the official spokesperson for the district and works closely with media outlets on promoting SBA programs and services throughout 72 counties. 

Ahmad’s outreach has helped generate over $6.7 billion to small businesses and creating over 50,000 jobs in the DFW area through SBA’s traditional programs. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Ahmad worked hard to provide outreach and assistance to DFW area business communities on Paycheck Protection Program and Economic Injury Disaster Loan program, which helped over 100,000 businesses get more than $6 billion to recover.
