What Does It Really Mean to Be a Leader?

How would you define leadership? What are the qualities, characteristics, and attributes of a
strong/effective leader? We probably won’t all agree, but I know we will have a lively conversation.
Leadership is more than a collection of motivational affirmations. Effective leaders have skills, and those
skills are learnable. Over the next three months, we are going to focus on leadership and the skills
necessary to be an effective leader.
